Industrial Revolution - Child Labor
During the Industrial Revolution many new jobs were giving. Unfortunately kids were offered jobs as well. Children would work on factories for over 12 hours a day and have only a 40 mins break for lunch and rest. Labor at the factories wasnt easy for these kids. They were around dangerous machines and were vulnerable for any injury. The king of England eventually made a law that didnt let children under the age of 18 work more than 12 hours a day or 69 hours a week. Inspectors would check the factories to see if they were following that rule.
